To the question what motivated you to join Sud South’s Advisory Board? Mr. Johnston Watt answered:

Sud South’s commitment to the development of the artisanal mining ecosystem, safeguarding the interests and well-being of the artisanal miners and their communities is underpinned by a bold transformational vision that will deliver tangible benefits for the broader Congolese economy too – truly a rising tide that floats all boats so to speak. As such I am honoured to have the opportunity to support Eddy and his team and contribute to this vision as a member of the Sud South Advisory Board.

Eddy Kioni, Sud South’s CEO added : “Duncan’s international entrepreneurial experience, his IT expertise lead by blockchain and cybersecurity related solutions are in line with the expertise that Sud South intends to develop into its service offering for the mining sector in general, with a particular accent on the artisanal mining sector.

Sud South’s Executive Committee couldn’t agree more that we will greatly benefit from Duncan’s wealth of experience. We look forward to Duncan’s support especially in the critical start-up phase of our company”

We welcome Mr. Johnston Watt onboard and are grateful for his support!
